Medical assistants support physicians and other healthcare providers with both clinical and administrative duties. Some of the tasks medical assistants perform include checking in patients, preparing patients for exams, taking vital signs, assisting with clinical procedures, and more.

Orientation Registration

Required Program Courses:

  • Introduction to Medical Assisting and Pharmacology - 250 hours
  • Introduction to Medical Office Procedures - 100 hours
  • Phlebotomist - 75 hours
  • Laboratory Procedures - 80 hours
  • EKG Aide - 75 hours
  • Clinical Assisting - 130 hours
  • Practicum Experience - 190 hours

Florida Resident Rate: $4,246.00
Non-Florida Resident Rate: $11,131.00
