Home Health Aide

Home Health Aides provide essential care and support to individuals who may require assistance with daily activities in a home care setting or nursing facility.
The program includes essential instruction in supportive services necessary to ensure and sustain physical and emotional comfort such as:
- Administering first-aid
- Basic infection control
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Patient hygiene care
- Rehabilitation needs
- Taking vital signs
In addition, you will be developing your Career Portfolio with one of our Career Counselors and learn about the employment opportunities that await you.
Required Program Courses:
- Basic Health Care Worker - 90 hours
- Home Health Aide - 75 hours
This program will put you on the path for employment opportunities as a Home Health Aide upon completing the educational training and requirements.
